The SMOK D Coil series generally consists of sub-ohm resistances intended for DTL and RDL use. Therefore, nicotine level and VG/PG ratio should be evaluated together with the resistance and wattage value being used.
Due to the sub-ohm structure of the D-Coil series, low-nicotine Premium / Freebase e-liquids are the primary choice for this coil family. Particularly for coil options used at high wattages like 0.15Ω and 0.23Ω, low nicotine should be preferred.
High-nicotine salt e-liquids are not suitable for high-wattage DTL coils like 0.15Ω and 0.23Ω. If a higher-nicotine MTL experience is desired, it is more appropriate to choose a high-resistance, low-wattage MTL coil/platform.
